How To Use

Keep the wick trimmed to around 1/4″. If a flame starts to grow too large or flicker, that means it is time to trim the wick.

How to hug a candle:

  • Gently push the soft wax on the outside in. This will push up the wax pool to shorten the wick. This also maximizes burn time.
  • Hug candle throughout a burn session and after use.

To extinguish: Gently dunk wick into the pool of wax and straighten back up.

Tips:

  • Keep candle away from air flow to prevent smoke
  • Burn pillars for about 1 hour per inch in diameter (e.g. 2″ wide pillar should be burned for around 2 hours per burning session)
  • Keep your beeswax candle out of the sun to prevent fading

How to remove bloom: Gently wipe with nylon or a soft cloth. (Wiping away the bloom is optional and an aesthetic choice)

Gentle reminder: Never leave a burning candle unattended!

Benefits

Beeswax candles are non-toxic, sustainably sourced, and waste free!

When burned, beeswax candles emit negative ions that purify the air. A 100% pure beeswax candle with not emit and chemicals or soot.

Beeswax candles have a much longer burn time than other waxes due to its higher melting point. This means that these candles also have a much brighter flame.

Emitting a light very similar to sunlight, beeswax candles are very pleasing to the eye and can be a wonderful candle to burn during the winter when there is less sunlight.

Commonly Asked Questions

Do you add dyes or fillers to your candles?

No! Our beeswax are just 100% pure triple-filtered beeswax.

Why do beeswax candles have such a long burn time?

Beeswax is one of the longest burning waxes because the wax has a much higher melting point than other waxes.

What is that film that appears on my candle over time?

That is called ‘Bloom’. Bloom is sought after by beeswax candles connoisseurs as only 100% pure beeswax candles will ‘bloom’. If your beeswax candle does not bloom, there is a very good change that it is not 100% pure beeswax.

You can break the pieces up and burn them in your next candle.

Are beeswax candles safe for pets?

Yes, just make sure to keep the lit candle away from the reach of pets. We have had customers say they are only able to burn beeswax candles with pet birds as well.
